this is my best friend alaia. i think she's a very good model because her hair colour, to me, i think it looks like fire and she has an original face and that's what i like. i have 4 other pictures of alaia in different lighting so....that's basically it.

Painting with LIGHT

I really enjoy painting with light because there are many different things that can produce light, and I love seeing the way they look when I take a photo. In this picture I used a flashlight, light from a phone and a lighter. The way the different lights illuminate the room fascinate me so much because I like the fact that I can change a room into a completely different perspective of it.

My Inspiration

This painting is called "The Elephants" by Salvatore Dali. He is the reason that I started painting. The way he paints fascinates me so deeply, that I reach to a point I feel inside of me, that makes me want to express myself in any way I can possibly think of. I express myself on a daily basis in many different ways like the type of clothing I wear or how I do my makeup, what I say and do, the choices I make, all connect to each other and it all builds up on how I want to be as a person. The small things about who I am, link together and completes me as a whole, and Salvatore Dali is part of the things that make me who I am.
